Danube Tech has joined as a co-contributor to the Web of Trust Map, a research initiative by Key State Capital

The Web of Trust Map and Danube Tech’s role as Co-Contributor

The Web of Trust Map offers a unique, data-driven perspective on the growing field of decentralized identity. By collecting and aggregating information on projects, protocols, funding, and key players, it provides a much-needed overview for researchers, investors, regulators, and anyone seeking to understand this complex space. The resource will be publicly accessible and aims to showcase decentralized identity and promote its broader adoption. In sum, deep data on over 270 projects, 170 blockchains, and thousands of individuals and entities was mapped out.

As a co-contributor, Danube Tech played an important role in the Web of Trust Map by leaning on their expertise and verifying the data that power the tool. This entailed reviewing the projects, connections, technologies, and individuals mapped to improve data quality and industry representation. This contribution is founded on a shared commitment to drive the industry forward and visualize its growth.

Through the integration of GoDiddy, the Web of Trust Map now incorporates live data feeds tracking the total number of DIDs on a blockchain and the number of new DIDs created over the past three months. This enhancement, made possible with Danube Tech’s contributions, improves the accuracy and depth of the map, reinforcing its role as a valuable resource. Danube Tech has helped ensure a more reliable and comprehensive overview of the decentralized identity space.
