Digital Identity and Data Sovereignty Association (DIDAS) Joins as co-contributor of Web of Trust Map.
The Web of Trust Map is the result of a research initiative that started in 2022, and focuses on government-affiliated decentralized identity projects. The map visualizes more than 270 decentralized identity projects and 39 consortia that endorse Decentralized ID technology. It provides a comprehensive overview of the projects, organizations, and individuals driving this technology forward.
DIDAS’ role as co-contributor
As a co-contributor, DIDAS’ primary role was to test and provide functional feedback on the Web of Trust Map, and data verification. This consisted of reviewing the projects, connections, and people visualized in the map - to ensure the utmost accuracy. This contribution is the result of a shared interest in driving the industry forward.
“As the foremost Swiss authority of Decentralized Identity, DIDAS brings incredible expertise both through their relationships as well as their technical chops. Daniel Sauberli has been incredibly helpful in the leadup to the launch of the Web of Trust, and we greatly appreciate their support and vision as we chart the course of Decentralized Identity’s future in the Web of Trust Map.”, said Nicholas Racz, Senior Partner at Key State Capital.
Through this collaboration, DIDAS and Key State Capital reaffirm their commitment to fostering a more secure and interoperable decentralized digital identity ecosystem. By contributing to the Web of Trust Map, DIDAS helps strengthen the visibility of decentralized identity initiatives, ensuring that policymakers, investors, and researchers have a reliable resource to navigate this evolving space. As the industry continues to develop, these partnerships will be instrumental in shaping the future of trust, security, and self-sovereign identity on a global scale.
About DIDAS
The Digital Identity and Data Sovereignty Association (DIDAS) is a non-profit organization that focuses its efforts on establishing and promoting Switzerland as a leading ecosystem in the development and introduction of technologies, services, and products that protect privacy while utilizing digital identity and electronically verifiable data. DIDAS envisions a digital future where individuals, businesses, professionals, government agencies, communities, and connected devices can easily exchange identity-related proprietary data electronically, all while preserving data ownership and privacy.
DIDAS organizes Digital Identity unConference Europe (DICE), an event in Zurich co-hosted with Trust Square. DICE serves as a collaborative platform for experts and policymakers to engage in open discussions on digital identity, data sovereignty, and trust frameworks. Using an unConference format, participants co-create the agenda in real-time, ensuring relevant, solution-driven conversations. The event fosters cross-sector collaboration between governments, businesses, and civil society to advance secure, verifiable, and privacy-preserving digital identity ecosystems across Europe.
Key State Capital (KSC) is excited to be a partner, contributing valuable insights and expertise to drive innovation in decentralized identity and cybersecurity.
Join us at DICE 2025, where industry leaders will shape the future of digital trust.
